you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you”

What is Future Life Progression?

Imagine if you could travel forward into time by 5 or 10 years, to see how your current path or life decisions will pan out. Or to see the outcomes of different current opportunities. To spot new options you hadn’t even imagined. Or to travel forward into your next life or incarnation, to see how your soul has grown. How might all of this help you to create positive, sustainable change and to fast track it to you sooner?

Future Life Progression (FLP) or Future Visioning guides you to explore and try on different future scenarios, within a state of deep relaxation. It can help you to make clear, more confident decisions, by bypassing unhelpful fears, procrastination or past negative associations. Imagining the future in a deliberate, focused and relaxed way, can show you choices you didn’t know were possible and help you to fast track it into your life sooner.

How will it benefit me?

FLP is typically used to explore possibilities around:

  • Viewing 5 or 10 years ahead in your life

  • Making confident and clear decisions

  • Choosing between multiple career opportunities

  • Identifying new areas of study or training

  • Tapping into your creativity and new ideas

  • Visualising future partners

  • Exploring relationship challenges

  • Making wise property investments

  • Supporting healthy life decisions

  • Exploring your next incarnation or lifetime

  • Spotting watch-outs or potential pitfalls

  • Motivating you to confidently take action, NOW!

Of course, some of our most important learnings come from the challenging times. We all have free will too, which means we can change events, irrespective of our original intentions. FLP doesn’t mean challenging times won’t occur, but it does help ensure unnecessary pitfalls can hopefully be spotted and avoided.

How does it work?

Through skilled facilitation and gentle guided visualization, FLP removes the normal conscious interference and focuses your higher or subconscious mind on your topic of interest. In this relaxed, focused, curious state you may see new options and solutions, typically hidden through fear, doubt or a busy mind. Change occurs far more rapidly once you are motivated by what you see and feel. FLP helps you to fast track to the best parts of your future.

So how does FLP 'really' work?

Is it really possible that time is non-linear as some physicists suggest, and you are slipping around your own time line? Possibly. After all, you can easily and strongly re-experience your own past experiences with just a single thought, often changing your view of the reality of that situation.

Is there any credence to precognition and temporal distortion theories, such as the Specious Present (the minimum present time that you can be aware of, which gets expanded from the normal 1/10th of a second, to say 5 or 10 years) or the Block Universe theory which suggests that the past, present and future all exist at the same time? Perhaps.

Is it simply that you have set an intention and trained your brain to expect and thus create a specific familiar outcome automatically, with little conscious effort, in the same way that athletes train their brains and body to undertake the perfect familiar kick, swing, hit or movement in the right circumstances? Possibly.

Or is it simply that a guided focused and concentrated mind provides the perfect conditions for moments of insight to occur. Moments that our busy lives normally inhibit. Perhaps.

Is it just a self-fulling wish or prophecy? You imagine something and you make it happen when you spot a potential future opportunity. Possibly!

Is it that the future advice and direction seems to be coming from an older, wiser, more experienced and successful version of you, which means it can be trusted and more easily followed? Maybe.

The answer is, we don’t know. Just like past life regression, FLP can’t currently be explained. But what we do know is that our current mindset has a powerful direct impact on the conditions and outcomes of our current and future lives. FLP can alter that mindset, so that it is positive, optimistic and more action orientated.

For example, one client had a challenging issue in her life. When progressed forward with her current mindset (of hopelessness and helplessness) she saw the situation ending badly. When progressed forward but to a more optimistic, alternative future, her whole energy changed. Advice, guidance and support from her future (successful) self gave her actions to undertake, options to try and the energy, optimism and hope, to keep reaching forward. She left the session highly motivated and positive. As Einstein said “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them ..

We could say then that FLP might help you during times of challenge to set a clear intention and mentally explore and rehearse different options, within a deeply relaxed, unemotional and fearless state. It can help you to make clear decisions and identify next steps. By creating the confidence, will and motivation to move forward, FLP seems to bring about future change more quickly, easily and enjoyably too.

What does a session involve?

After clarifying your aims for the session, a light hypnosis will take you to a calm, peaceful and relaxed space. Skilful facilitation will then help you to explore your particular issue. Anchoring techniques will help you to embed your envisioned outcomes, strengthening their subconscious hold and increasing the chance of them being acted upon. The sessions typically feel light and bright and most clients feel wonderfully refreshed, invigorated and motivated to make change, immediately afterwards.

Sessions are available in-person in Clare, Suffolk, UK and virtually on Zoom, with availability to suit global time zones. Each session is unique and thus session lengths can vary. Please allow for a maximum of 2 hours.
