CHILDHOOD

Some of us have had challenges during childhood that have left emotional scars which affect our adult lives, whether we can remember the source of them or not. If we didn’t feel safe, seen and soothed as a child, even if we had a wonderful mother who was simply busy with a sibling or work, it may have left an imprint that we are not lovable, not enough and don’t deserve to have our needs met. Alternatively our way of expressing wants as a 2-year old (in the middle of the store!) may have left us with a sense that we cannot express ourselves authentically, which might translate into a sense of not being  lovable, worthy or enough. Or we may simply have had a crappy childhood.

Whilst talking all of this through with a counsellor can be immensely helpful and highly recommended, some of these more experiential options can be worth considering also.

Services to Consider
  • Current Life Regression This is a wonderful nurturing session to go back and step into the scene of an early challenging memory to give yourself all of the love and support your younger self didn’t have at the time. Simply acknowledging your own younger self in this way can be powerful. Once your younger self feels more supported (by your current self’s presence) you can reframe that situation to remove the ‘ouch’ from it. Other situations later in life which feel similar can also be reframed, transforming them into neutral experiences which the brain can ignore rather than keep associating with. This can also be a helpful session if self-love is in short supply.

  • Past Life Regression If you simply cannot imagine what it would be like to have had a warm, loving, happy childhood, then experiencing the past life of someone who did is one way of making that experience more familiar. This can be a session in its own right or we might just pop in for a short visit. Once you can immerse yourself in the feeling of having safety, security, warmth and love, as if it’s happening right now, it can start to rewire the brain’s associations, making it easier to identify and welcome into your own life in the future.

  • Womb Regression Although potentially not as deep or illuminating as the Between Lives Spiritual Regression, this can be a really helpful session to bring clarity and understanding to your early childhood, especially if you need help finding forgiveness for yourself or others. Separating your own thoughts, feelings and emotions from those of your mother can also be deeply insightful. These sessions can sometimes reveal interesting facts or explanations that can help you see things in a new light. They can also be beneficial if you don’t have any happy memories from childhood that you can recall.

  • Between Lives Spiritual Regression This can be a wonderful session to bring context and understanding to family, childhood and lifetime issues. Finding out why you chose this life, body, family, partners, friends and children can provide so much rich information to help you move forward in a more positive way. Instead of viewing aspects of your life as punishment, you can start to view them in a more positive way, as the learning opportunities that they can be.
