What is agnostic therapeutic past life regression?
Agnostic therapeutic past life regression (PLR) uses light hypnotherapy to explore past life events which may be associated with current life symptoms, issues, phobias, unexplained pains, repeating life situations or behavioral patterns. Re-experiencing and then releasing these lives and events within the safety of a regression session, may help resolve current issues and can be immensely healing. Someone with unexplained recurring headaches may for example, find themselves regressed back to a past life where they had a traumatic head injury. Symptoms may improve when that past life event is identified, reviewed and released. Whether the past life is real or a hyper-realistic fantasy, metaphor or imaginary experience, is up to you to decide. All views are valid and respected and do not affect the experience or the outcomes.

What is a session like?
Past Life Regression (WW2 Fighter Pilot)
This generously shared past life regression is of a young British fighter pilot who dies in WW2, but not in the way that you might expect. His experience of wartime loss (possibly) causes him to take his own life. You get a real sense of the mental suffering that he faced with at such a young age. The session is a good example of a therapeutic past life regession, which uses techniques to release and reframe the unresolved emotions, rather than uncovering facts about the life. We also move forward into the client's current life to understand any possible impact to current relationships. Although personal details have been excluded, you still get a sense of possible links from the past bleeding through into this life. It's also a fascinating session with a normal guy who doesn't do woo-woo!
How does it work?
Releasing
Most past life regressions have to aim of releasing unhelpful fears, phobias, emotions or physical issues. The intention is either to go to the source of a particular emotion such as fear, anger, sadness or guilt, or to leave it to your higher mind to select a past life, one that will typically provide highly relevant learning to your current situation. Alternatively, for an introduction to past life regression or for something more uplifting and life-affirming, the intention can be made to go to a positive past life.
Once entered into the past life, you'll be gently guided through its key moments and then just beyond the ending of that life. Relationships from that life are explored, unstated thoughts or feelings are expressed and key learnings are reviewed. The life is then released, leaving no remaining unfinished business from that life. The session concludes with receiving some advice and wisdom to help with your current challenges, from your higher mind, inner mind or spirit guide, according to your beliefs.
Rehearsing
Once you have experienced a couple of releasing past life regressions, then you may wish to experiment with rehearsing or trying on something that is lacking or unfamiliar in your life, such as a secure loving childhood, a healthy romantic relationship, abundance and success, or the experience of being neurotypical. Although not guaranteed, going to a past life with the key aim of mentally rehearsing particular experiences, characteristics, learnings or qualities which you may not be familiar with, can be tremendously positive. Because your brain would rather stick with the familiar, however uncomfortable that it, this type of experience can make the unfamiliar more familiar within your imagination. As your brain can't easily determine reality from imagination, anything vividly imagined gets taken to be an actual experience. It may be easier to attract the unfamiliar into your life therefore, by becoming familiar with it in your imagination first. You can also use this option to explore and perhaps bring forward particular skills and talents, such as that of being a writer, artist or musician etc, or to vivdly imagine the exerience of living in a particular culture or time period.
The experience
Regardless of your views and skepticism, most people can and do experience a past life regression. Imagining along with the instructions given and being willing to accept and discuss images, feelings, sensations or gut knowings, are the key skills to successful past life regression. Everyone experiences past lives in their own unique way. Just like any other skill, you can get better with practice, so successive past lives may be quicker to get into and more immersive. As with all hypnotherapy, you cannot be made to do or say anything you don’t want to, you cannot get stuck in trance, you retain complete mental and physical control, you will probably remember everything that happens and a session is inherently safe and no more risky than a guided daydream. You will receive a recording of your session afterwards.
The truth of any memories that may come to your conscious awareness during a session is for you to decide. Are they real or just your subconscious mind providing immersive experiences to help provide learning for your current challenges? We just don't know. That said, a past life experience does usually feel vivid and real. Emotions are often strongly felt as if they were your own. Past lives are usually relatively easy to access from within the space of a quiet, focused mind. Listening to the practice audio recordings in Resources beforehand can help train your conscious mind to relax, making a past life easier to access.
Sessions are available in-person in Clare, Suffolk, UK and virtually on Zoom, with availability to suit global time zones. Each session is unique and thus session lengths can vary. Please allow for a maximum of 2 hours. You determine how many sessions you need, by how complete the resolution feels to you.
