  • Bite-sized chunks of learning practiced in small safe break-outs that can be applied the very next day

  • Fun, simple, light-hearted, no pressure

  • Optional end of session guided visualizations for more deeply embedded learning

  • Homework ‘experiments’ to subtly practice your skills between sessions, without anyone else knowing

  • Recommended for introverted, sensitive, fearful, phobic, neurodivergent or beginner presenters

Do you have a secret fear of presenting or speaking up in meetings that seems too much to fix?  Thankfully there’s now a gentler, more brain-friendly approach. Learn the basics of how to present well in presentations and meetings, within 4 different small-group drop-in virtual workshops. Learn some simple tricks and tips that can instantly make you look more polished and professional and make you feel more competent and confident. Of course, there’s no substitute to learning gradually over time, at say Toastmasters, but when time, energy or courage is tight, then these fun and simple sessions can quickly start to build your speaking skills and confidence.

Each of the 4 skills workshops focuses on different key aspects of presenting. Attend all 4 to give yourself a solid foundation in presenting. In combination they cover most of the key elements that can derail nervous or novice presenters. Mix and match and attend in any order (all individually bookable), although this might be a good order ..

How it Works

  • Group size (1-12)

  • Session length: approx 2-hrs

  • Evening zoom sessions to minimise work disruption

After introductions and check-ins and some brief theory, you’ll be gently guided through a handful of fun, short activities, learning as you go. Some activities are completed together as a group with everyone contributing, whilst others are undertaken within pairs in breakout groups, so you can practice privately with one other participant. Workshops are small with no prior knowledge expected. Everyone is welcome to learn at their own pace. If you wish to participate in the optional 15-min guided visualization at the end, you’ll be able to use the power of your imagination to mentally rehearse the skills you’ve just explored, making them easier to apply when back in the workplace.

If you have significant fear, phobia or dread of public speaking, it is recommended that you attend the No Sweat Presenting: Fear Reduction Workshop first, to remove fear and build up some speaking confidence, prior to working on your presenting skills. The Imposter Syndrome workshops may also be worth considering too.
